Before you begin your Photostory project, you must do the following:
Use the Story Board to decide what you will say (your script). See your previously-written book recommendation for the script (if applicable).
Find and save images you will want to use as part of your story.
Once you have checked this with your teacher, you are ready to start your Photo Story.
Steps to using Photostory 3:
1. Open Photostory 3
2. Select “Begin a New Story”.
3. Select Next.
Step Two: Import and arrange your pictures.
Step Three: Add a title to your pictures. In this step you can add titles and effects to your images.
Step Four: Narrate your pictures and customize motion. We will be using the microphones in the computer lab.
Step Five: Add background music. Make sure this does not distract from your presentation or from your narration. Also make sure the music you choose fits the overall mood/tone of the book.
Step Six: Save your story for playback on your computer.
TIPS:
Save project often!!
Make sure your images are larger than 1024 x 768 (in Google Advanced Image Search you can select size before you search for pictures).
